I understand there are  beautiful and  hard parts  when it comes to breastfeeding… and at Nourish & Nurture, we celebrate  all of it.

Having a baby is both the most rewarding and most humbling experience out there. One second, you feel like you have everything under control, and the next you’re wondering why anyone ever trusted you with this beautiful, tiny human being that won’t stop screaming.

I also know that feeding your baby can feel like the most natural and beautiful thing you’ve ever done….and it can also be painful, exhausting, and fill you full of self-doubt. I am here to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals—your way. It’s normal to need help when learning new things, and guess what?! You and your baby ARE learning!

About me…

Hi there, I’m Nicola, I’m a Registered General Nurse, Midwife and General Practice Nurse. I’m also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, I am dedicated to providing evidence-based care to support and guide you on your breastfeeding journey. I understand the significance of educating, supporting, and empowering families during this transformative time. My goal is to help you make informed decisions, address any concerns or challenges you may encounter, and ensure a positive and fulfilling breastfeeding experience for you and your baby. Let’s embark on this journey together, with the utmost care and attention to your unique needs.

Not only that, I’m a mum too! I have 2 beautiful kids, and both of them had very different breastfeeding journeys. I’ve been on that emotional rollercoaster. I’ve experienced the self-doubt, the guilt, those difficult challenges, such as poor latch due to tongue tie, nipple shields, low supply, triple feeding, blebs, and blocked ducts. BUT, I’ve also experienced the sheer joy & pride of overcoming those challenges too!
